East Frisian Tea

Put a piece of rock sugar in the cup. Pour the hot, strong black tea over it and listen to the soft crackle of the sugar. Then add a small spoonful of cream and watch it float through the tea like a little cloud. And whatever you do, don’t stir.That’s what warms and soothes me on a cold day.What a wonderful drink.
