It's been a tough week...

Early Tuesday morning, my partner was rushed to the ER after his back gave out at the gym (he was on his second working set of hack squats). He spent the day in the ER waiting patiently to have imaging done. Fortunately, the doctor didn't see anything of concern on his CT scan, but determined that due to his very limited mobility (he could not walk or stand without assistance) he would be kept overnight. He was discharged yesterday and is relaxing at home. The pets and I are happy to have him back. Monkey, in particular, has been by his side more than usual. It'll be a long journey to recovery, but he's already getting around more than he was just a couple days ago.
