Happy October!

Since it's the first day of October, I'm thinking it would be fitting to start the month with a post about Oktoberfest. 🍻 Last night, Danny and I attended the Oktoberfest festivities at a local German beer garden, which are continuing until October 11th. We had delicious German food (pork schnitzel, spaetzle, and pickled red cabbage) and a liter of beer each, and we enjoyed some live music that involved lots of crowd participation. Lots of raising our beers in the air, cheers-ing, and chants of "Zicke zacke, zicke zacke, hoi hoi hoi!" I didn't take my digicam, opting instead to just use my phone for photos. Below are all the photos I took. We had a fantastic time and were super full afterward! I happily got to enjoy my favorite beer: a hefeweizen as big as my head. Reply via email
