Welcome to October! September felt very busy, but went by quickly. Strange how that happens. Tabitha and I made pens. Was pretty cool but I already have a few Kaweco Sports so don't really need another one! If it's glow-in-the-dark, I'm going to be there though. I'm currently borrowing a Hasselblad X2D-II. It's an amazing piece of kit, and I'm a bit addicted to the X-Pan aspect ratio, but I'm also scared to bring it anywhere in case I cause even slight damage to it. It's quite slow to operate, but it's a nice, simple camera in terms of controls. In that way, it's a great counterpart to the R5, with all its modes and menus. After much build-up, I did jury service. Only ended up in court for three days, then was dismissed for the second week. Was a very interesting experience, and I'm glad I got to do it. Dan, Alex, and I went to a very photogenic lunch. Was great to catch up, and I'll be thinking about the foccacia for the rest of my life. We saw a squirrel battling a pain-au-chocolat,…
