This audiobook came up on my Storytel recommendations list. I do like the thriller genre, so this novel is right up my alley. The opening is very interesting, and it made me worried and anxious as well. As a woman who has lived alone for a few years, I fear my house being entered. Whenever I sleep, even when I am 100% sure I locked everything, I still mentally prepare myself in case someone breaks in. I make a mental map of where my knives are, where my phone is, and how loud I should be shouting. I also know that the preparation is always going to be easier than if it actually happens. Fortunately, it has not, and I trust it stays that way.
