Randoming on September 30, 2026 🍁🏥🎨🎞️

Random thoughts too long for a Mastodon post, but not long enough for a full-blown post. 🍁 September is just about over, and I am looking forward to putting the hot weather behind me. Today’s high of 91 is likely the last I’ll see of that number for the remainder of the year, unless I travel to a warm locale. 🏥 My friend A. had his 54th birthday yesterday, and to celebrate, he was discharged from the hospital and sent home. He’s bounced back and forth over the last two months between the hospital and rehab, so I can only imagine how excited he was to sleep in his own bed for the first time in a while. 🎨 This post is the first to be published after I gave my blog a makeover. I used the Bearming template as a base, added a slightly-altered Svergie palette, used “cosmic latte” as the background color, then tweaked numerous Styles and Add-ons to achieve the current layout.
