I recently wrote that Bible apps should think harder about what “streaks” and catch-up mechanics are actually forming in their users and readers. FaithTech’s new Playbook names this thoughtfulness stewardship: the ongoing responsibility to care for what has been created, attend to its fruit, and remain accountable for what happens next It also names the danger: the people affected by the product are left to carry whatever consequences emerge I had nothing to do with the new playbook, but it’s nice to see this idea reflected broadly.
