“The Place Beyond the Dark” Review of ABSOLUTE FLASH #19

Where were we? Oh, yes! Hunter Zolomon was getting ready to end Wally’s life! In the Absolute Universe, Zolomon can see just far enough into the future to know every move Wally is about to make. Wally can’t get a break, and things are looking bleak for him. Let’s skip ahead in the story to Linda, Grodd, and the horrific visions out on the streets. It’s Abra Kadabra (or rather the Absolute version), and he has been playing everyone with these visions. It’s the most fun he’s had since going up against the Absolute Universe version of Zatara. But, Grodd sees through all of it. Grodd helps linda see the truth, that there are NO weird transformations, just fake visions spread by Kadabra. Linda stops him easily once the truth is out. They go to see Wally, and that’s where we go to the big fight of the…
