Let the World be Uncomfortable

There is a kind of Christianity the world is perfectly willing to tolerate, the kind that stays quiet, asks nothing difficult, blesses whatever everybody was already doing and never becomes serious enough to interfere with anybody's plans. you can believe in God as long as belief remains another private preference, you can wear a cross as long as you never mention what happened on it, you can speak about love as long as you never speak about sin, repentance, judgment, obedience or sacrifice, and you can call yourself Christian as long as the world is still allowed to decide which parts of Christianity are acceptable. Christ did not describe it that way "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen youout of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18–19.
