Ross Walking Festival 2026. Reading and snoozing. A couple of garden jobs. Autumn’s arriving. Ross Walking Festival 2026 – Walk 3 – A Waterfall, a Druid’s Well and Mysterious Stones: Harold’s Stones, Trellech Breakfast in the conservatory on Tuesday morning with Pips choosing my lap over Phil’s – a rare event. To the gym for Functional Playground then home for admin. A grey day, but clammy and humid. Admin in the afternoon, then a tactical just-after-rush-hour trip to Belmont for Lidl and Tesco’s. Up early enough to catch the oranges, pinks and purples of the dawn, and two rabbits in the front lawn on Wednesday morning. Pips was down under the hazelnut and holly trees, waiting for mouse action. A jay flies between the oak tree at the end of the orchard and the old garden railway apple trees. Finished off Claire North’s House of Odysseus, then off to the gym for a marathon morning: calisthenics, stretch, PT. Quick turn around back at base then up to Peterchurch and The Hub in St…
