it's now safe to turn off your computer

hello! it's been another quiet month for me as i continue to be more offline than not (i've updated my "now" post at the top of the blog to reflect this (⌒_⌒;)) i've just been focusing on health and well-being. because things are rough enough out there without the internet piping hot garbage into my brain every time i look at a computer. since i haven't touched my computers very much, i almost forgot how to navigate niri and vim on my framework when i came back to it to write this blog. as far as computing goes, i've mainly just been using my iphone and my pi homeserver. it's actually been really nice to have such a minimalist setup. i did finally upgrade my apple operating systems now that 27/golden gate is out. i was able to mostly avoid 26/tahoe and the liquid glass disaster. the ui now seems to be less buggy and less of a headache to look at so i'm glad i sat out last year's apple experience. unfortunately, there are still annoying things like all the ai stuff they're cramming in…
