Field Trip

A quick pointer: “Field Trip” is a new show on CJAM, a campus radio station in Windsor, Ontario. Or, as its host the great librarian Mita Williams would call it, “South Detroit.” If you’re not within range of 99.1’s towers with 2,084 watts of radio power bringing you stacks of wax and platters that matter, you can stream the show Wednesday evenings or download an MP3 the hard way. I recommend following Mita’s work through her feeds or newsletters. She’s sharp and interesting.
