Today’s recording starts with the end of Dennis & Gnasher. There’s a promo for the CBBC Beakeriser website. Then it’s What’s New Scooby-Doo? – Gold Paw. There’s a gold plated monster at Fort Knox, and it’s turning people into gold. The gang ae visiting Fort Knox to visit the Secret Six puppies again. Was this an attempt to do a Scrappy Doo that wasn’t annoying? They’re being drilled by Drill Sergeant Payne. Shaggy and Scooby get lost looking for the canteen and find themselves in the gold vault, where they’re menaced by the gold monster. They meet Travis Knox, who claims that Fort Knox was built on his land so he owns it. Shaggy and Scooby are chased in a golden tank. They find Drill Sergeant Payne turned to gold. The Secret Six had vanished from their beds, but when they check again, they’re back, although their paws are covered in dirt. Velma checks on the secret lab on the base. One of the inventions there is Shut Down Goo. “It’s an expandable net that traps anything it covers.”…
