gdu - the must-have terminal disk analyzer

I noticed some co-workers weren't aware of the existence of gdu. But they should, because gdu is amazing. Indispensable even. From the manpage: gdu - Pretty fast disk usage analyzer written in Go Yes, this is correct, but this is not really selling it. gdu allows you to quickly analyse a directory and sort on size from the terminal. You get a very clear -- and very fast -- view which directories are eating your all your precious storage space. No more messing around with find or awk commands to find large folders. From the main view, you can drill down to subdirs by hitting enter, or you can sort on modified date, or view/open files or delete them. Hit ? to see all options. On MacOS you can install gdu-go on Homebrew. Which works exactly the same. A must-have tool!
