Graduate degree and the reality of now 0 ▲ Thoughts of Widdershins 2 hours ago · Culture · hide · 0 comments I am halfway through my first class in pursuing my master's degree. It's been less than stellar and I have been experiencing a feeling I'm not sure I can describe. I'm doing this online because it's cheaper and I am paying for my classes out of pocket...no grants or loans. Part of the experience online is the weekly discussions and right now they feel useless. It's just the required research methods class, but I feel like after I posted my introduction in week one, I'm totally ignored. No one responds to my weekly posts, hell, no one really reads it (other than the professor, and he doesn't even respond). I don't know if it is my age, my historical experience, or what. To be honest, right now I feel like stopping after this course. I know that is premature, and that I should stick to it, but if it continues like this, I will have to reevaulate what I want to do. Do I just suck it up and get through the degree here? Do I try another school? Do I just say fuck it and not bother with… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
