iOS 27 Making the Siri App Unremovable

Here we stand again. After years of Apple making default apps removable and deletable or at the minimum eliminated through Screen Time they're back to forcing things down our thoughts with the Siri app. There is no way to remove the Siri app completely even though I can shutdown Siri and make it as dumb as possible it's still there. There is no reason for this and the fact that I can even hide Safari and Mail using the screen time settings, but not Siri is weird and clearly an attempt to inflate numbers of "queries" with Siri by pushing this on people. Forcing everyone to use your chatbot app is a weird way to go for a company that for so long played things safe. Leaning in with this and the always listening Apple Watch 12 is a creepy turn for a company long defending privacy. I'm honestly not sure where to go from here. Clearly Gemini is even Moore involved in the Android phone, but I do have an old Pixel 7 Pro that is running GrapheneOS I might switch back to even though it has some…
