~SPOILER FREE~ FINAL THOUGHTS: SUMMER 2026

For once, I’m on time! It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a review post out early, and in fact, there’s still one episode of Honzuki no Gekokujou IV to air, so I’m a week ahead! At first glance, there was a lot of anime I was interested in this season, but as I looked into each one, my desire to watch them declined. I was expecting to have more to watch than I could handle, so I’m glad I ended up watching a more reasonable amount. Of the stuff not listed, I watched: One episode of Kuroneko Majo and Mjikaku Seijo each. Two episodes of Degarashi Ouji. Three episodes of Otomege Sekai‘s second season. And finally, four episodes of Sekai Saikyou no Kouei. I actually might read the novels of that one, but the anime was bad. I might end up watching Saijo no Osewa at some point, just for the drill hair ojousama, but I’m not desperate enough for anime to watch right now. I’m saving it for a very rainy day.
