Week 7: Fall is here

I started working full time again this week and some of the downtime I used to have in the past disappeared as work took over that but I still had a few moments I wanted to write about. Storm and the neighborhood cat There’s a cat in my neighborhood, actually across the street from me, who has been abandoned by the owners. We never saw any lost cat posters and one of my neighbors mentioned they might’ve been passing through the neighborhood as some people do in Portland. The cat was sleeping next to the apartment of a neighbor so she started to feed him, but this week she is traveling so the rest of the neighbors are pitching in and feeding. Thursday night we had a pretty strong rain with storm and really strong winds. This was concerning because it started late at night so I couldn’t do much to help the orphaned cat so the next day, I started contacting people in the neighborhood to see if anyone can give the cat a home.
