Lines that Point to Chrysler – New York, New York I realize I’ve posted many pictures of the Chrysler Building in this series already, and it is one of my favorite buildings, but I think this one looks a bit different and deserves a little attention. Notice how the facade of the building on the left has elements that point toward the Chrysler. There is also a break in the “urban canyon” where we can see the landmark skyscraper standing proudly. It’s almost as if the street is gesturing toward the historic grand dame of the neighborhood. Inspired by the shadow-filled afternoon photo from a couple of days ago, I processed this picture differently. I opted to deepen the shadows but subtly brightened the facade lines pointing toward the Chrysler.
