The Sabbaday Falls Trail is a brief outing off the popular Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest, and it is a nice stop to fold into a longer drive without much planning. The trail begins directly from the parking area off Route 112, immediately immersing you in the dense mixed forest characteristic of this elevation in the White Mountains. The path starts out wide and graveled, easy enough for almost anyone to manage. Benches offer resting spots along the way, with views of the surrounding forest for anyone who wants to slow down. Interpretive signs along the route explain some of the local geology and history, giving a bit of context to the woods you are walking through.
