Call for Volunteer Editors!

The Ancillary Review of Books is looking to grow our editorial team! ARB is an online magazine that publishes reviews and critical essays, centered on speculative fiction and related non-fiction, and focused on bridging different reading and writing communities. We have a bit of an academic bent, compared to many pop culture-focused outlets, but we are not an academic journal. ARB is a two-time Hugo finalist, and has been nominated for the Ignyte Critics award. The ARB editors are currently completely volunteer, although we hope to pay editors in the future. (Thanks to our Patreon members and the success of our last fundraiser, ARB is now able to offer our contributors a small honorarium.) While ARB does have some structure (we have one editor in charge of publishing & commissioning, several assigned roles related to social media and graphic design, and a small board who approve financial decisions), we manage most of our routine activities as a collective, working on the items we’re…
