Oops, I Did It Again

I can’t believe I haven’t posted for almost another month. I really have lost my blogging mojo! So what’s been happening? The biggest news is that eldest started college and, despite all our fears, has taken to it like a duck to water. He’s even been happy for us to take next door’s daughter - basically a complete stranger - with us on the school run! He’s enjoying his subjects, but may drop Computer Science after the mocks in November as doing 4 A-Levels is quite intense and he wants to do the LAMDA acting course in the new year. Several of his high school friends are sharing some of his courses, so that’s really helped his confidence in a new environment. Plus it’s great that he can continue the friendships he’s developed over the years. One of the downsides of attending a school 15 miles away is that he doesn’t get to see his friends often and he certainly can’t just nip over after school like I used to do as a teen.
