minimalismI bought a mattress under the pressure of my dear old mom when I moved in last month. I didn't want one so I could save space, but I come from a family where no actually means "pry until they say yes". Bought it for $300, slept on it for a month, back was destroyed. I crammed it into my brother's old room, and bought a $60 floor futon from Amazon and some cheap boat mattress liner as my tatami. First night was uncomfortable. I could feel the blood rushing to my head when I laid on my side. A week in, it's one of the comfiest things I've slept on. Back feels better, and I can put it away to regain my space. 3 hours.At the end of the day, getting home from work I have 3 hours until I absolutely need to go to sleep. 7-10. Making them count is what's been difficult. I want to work on projects, but then I have no dick around time. If I want to dick around, I'll have wasted time I could have used to work on projects.
