Proposed to advertise for Engineer at £2 2 0 a week with house, lighting and coal free, and for a Tap Inspector at £10 a year. Adopted Waterworks Committee, 3 September 1919, page 5 Discussion re sewer to Mr Mens’ house in Maldon Road. Mr M to contribute. Resolved to find out if Government ‘would allocate German Prisoner labour for the excavations necessary’. Also to get contribution from Mr W Butler who also proposed to build there.
