So the good news: the film of the longest train journey in the EU is out, and you can watch it here:Or directly on Youtube here.The deal essentially was this: cameraman Rick Minnich would follow me throughout the trip, we would get all the footage as swiftly as possible to the Youtube channel Simply Railway, and then a share of the Youtube earnings from the film would then pay Rick's wages having followed me.The first version of the film went online on Friday 18th September, and had to be immediately pulled, because Simply Railway's editor had not run the video past me for a fact check before publishing. How the channel chooses to format the video is their deal, but I take fact checking seriously, so putting out something with errors in it is a serious problem for me.I sent a whole list of changes needed to the editor on 19th September, and was then told the new version of the film would go live today 25th September.It did.But most of the errors were still in the film!And as you…
