i haven't at all been inclined to write, be it here, or in my journal, or emailing friends. things are kind of both happening and not. i have many ideas but only working in little aborted bursts. some snapshot updates: tried "the grail method" for journaling and it seems to be working really well (link below) i keep re-calculating how many pages i can use for what in next year's planner, depending on what notebook i'll end up getting/making. now i'm confused whether i can fit "grail" style entries among everything else or if it needs its own section in the back (in which case how do i track how many pages i've already used??) i have it mixed in right now in my current notebook and i don't seem to want to use it for anything else anymore. but i'm really resistant to having Two Notebooks, it just never works for me if things are in Different Places. went to a museum (disappointing) and watched a documentary about two of david hockney's exhibitions (very interesting and inspiring) autumn…
