The End of Oak Street

Meh. Great incipit, but this movie feels like a half-wasted opportunity to me. It does not even explain the time period in which it is set —the ’80s— well, except through a few subtle details that are easy to miss. In contrast, for example, Riddle of Fire excels in this regard.
