When a blogpost eats another

I was halfway through writing a pretty interesting blogpost today. Some thoughts about all the science fiction films I’ve watched this year! It’s seriously so much I realized I should probably save it for the end of the year. Why you ask? Well, because I can literally make a recap of only sci-fi movies, and a recap of other movies if I want to, and all I have to do is wait for the end of the year. I’ll definitely save the writing I already did, and probably use some of it for this month’s recap as well. (If you’re curious about it, this month I have watched The War of the Worlds—awesome and terrifying—, Mercy—pretty meh—, The Day The Earth Stood Still—absolute masterpiece—, and I’m halfway through Minority Report—which is looking great.) (As another aside, let me know if what I just did with those commas and em dashes is stylistically correct or whatever, I thought it looked kinda neat and I have read a couple books that have used that weird em-dash+comma thing.
