Headlands Coffee, Sydney

I honestly don’t know where the best coffee is at in Sydney (other than the places I used to visit nearby my office when I worked here). So, similar to Single O, I only found out about Headlands Coffee via living in Japan. Specifically, I had visited this cafe in in Koenji called Porta which was selling Headlands beans. I thought its Platypus logo was really cute and I ended up buying two packs, so I figured I better make a visit to the shop itself at some point. I’ll admit Headlands conjured up images of a rocky coastline like the Sydney Heads, but actually the cafe is in a Sydney suburb known as Summer Hill. Although it’s only 15 minutes by train from the CBD, I’ll say off the bat that if you’re visiting Sydney, I wouldn’t recommend coming here since it really is just your average Sydney suburb (albeit a seemingly nice one).
