The end of a season of work and the beginning of (more) Traitors and science fiction. The past week was a lot of enforced rest due to being sick. I still have a bit of it lingering in my sinuses, but I think the fatigue is more burnout from pushing myself so hard jobhunting. I'm really bitter I put so much effort into interviews where nothing came of it. And then just as I was really planning for being unemployed for at least the next three months, I finally get an interview invite for a job I'd applied for and had considered one of my top picks. So I had a short video interview with them today and will hear yes or no by end of next week. So more waiting. Otherwise it's the last three games of the season coming up, then work will be over. Bittersweet. I haven't worked any kind of job or even volunteered since 2018, and I had no idea if I'd manage to do this and keep up with it for so long.
