Clothes for poses, and a Heyer detective classic

I am back from my holidays, and also from doing another project - more soon. Thank you for continuing to look and comment while I was away, and patiently waiting for a new post. Reader comments encouraged me to go with this classic: No Wind of Blame by Georgette Heyer published 1939 This book has many fans, particularly among my readers, mostly because of the truly wonderful character of Vicky Fanshawe, a girl who is forever putting on an act, and dressing accordingly. No Wind of Blame has featured in the comments recently, and there has been a long fascinating discussion on Vicky’s mother Ermyntrude (and other aspects of the book) – so much so that I had to reread it.
