Weeknotes #395 — Conker

I can’t remember the last time that I worked from home for two days in a row. It felt strange to leave my work laptop at my desk at the end of the first day, knowing that in the morning I would just pick up from where I left off. I guess I’m now fully acclimatised to mainly being in the office again. This week, we had some important visitors at our office on Friday, which meant that many of us planned to go in, bumping my scheduled days at home to earlier in the week. I love this time of year. I spotted my first conker on the way to the train station. Later, at the weekend, when I went for a run, there were loads of them everywhere. These are the days when the sun is warm on your face like a comfy blanket without being overwhelming, and you can walk around outside without getting too hot or too cold. The whole week was overshadowed by some terrible news about a colleague who was taken ill. We’re all thinking about them and I have my fingers crossed that they’ll be ok. This was a week…
