It’s ten years since we moved into this house. It seems like an appropriate moment to reflect on how the garden has changed. I kept a garden diary for the first five years that we lived here and have continued for the following five with this blog – its a little erratic but it records […] Ten years This came up on the WordPress ‘on this day’ thing. I couldn’t think what I’d been doing for ten years in 2019 – living in my current house and garden, it seems. Anyway that means we’ve now been here for 17 years, as long as our previous house. Time bends and twists. In those previous 17 years we had our first garden, first vegetables, first cat, second cat, various career and job achievements. Our two children were born and grew from being babies to late primary school. As I explained in 2019, they’ve grown up and made their own lives while we’ve had two more cats and experienced the foothills of our own older age. Now that phase is ever closer, but we keep going. Not a lot has changed in…
