Today I’m continuing my series on RPG Table Skills: skills that’s going to be used primarily at the table rather than during prep and used by many or all people at the table. My POV and context, as I laid out last time: my target audience here is people who have a baseline level of comfort playing RPGs. I’m coming at this as someone who plays a lot of story games and has more moderate experience with larp and module-based games. When I’m playing, generally my goals are to get into the thick of interpersonal character drama, to set players up to make tough, compelling choices, and to entertain my fellow players at the table. Last time I set a table of contents for this series, but really I’m just gonna quick hits power through everything else I listed last time plus a couple others. Here’s a bunch of tips for good games.
