Herefordshire Week 351: Tuesday 15 – Monday 21 September 2026

Post trip and LED admin continued. A mow!!!! A day making chutneys and jams. To Essex and back over the weekend. Damson Jam: Four Medium Jars Woke up early on Tuesday to rain. Sat in the conservatory with Pippa, coffee and toast. More LED Admin then off to the gym for PT. Home to collect / rake apples. Not many left on the old garden railway trees. Lunch, nap, then Walton admin and catching up on TMR Weeknotes. Washed apples, cleaned / nikwaxed walking boots, caught up on email, did some money admin. Gym on Wednesday morning then home to do some work on my TMR Photos & Notes blogpost, trying to include the up and down that we actually did versus what was in the trip notes. Late lunch, then out in the ride on mower – started fine even though it’s not been plugged into the trickle charger all summer. Grass lush in places. Generated 10 grass box loads, most of which had to go on top of Phil’s scythed front meadow grass. Picked some damsons / wild plums too – the thin tree arching over…
