“AI developing too fast”

CEOs, who have a vested financial interest in their companies, are telling us AI is “developing too fast”. Don’t look at the devastating climate impact, bubble pumping, financial fraud, broken promises, or predictions that never come to pass, the real threat is just how great our tech is. Good grief! Can you imagine a chorus of defence contractors doing an interview where they agree their weapons are too powerful? Real estate agents everywhere agree: the housing market is just too undervalued! Buy buy buy! (Then again, if we pretended the Emperor had clothes for a moment, why are we letting them develop tech that’s clearly so destructive? No angle here makes sense, but then, I suspect that’s the point). Wait, I just realised something. This is too good of a blog.
