📷 sonoran desert in black and white

Today I am sharing a few photos I have taken in the Superstition and Four Peaks Wilderness areas (near Phoenix, Arizona). While the desert frequently displays vibrant colors, sometimes I feel like black and white photos provide an appropriate gravity to the landscape. Two saguaros, battered by heat and fire, keep watch in the Four Peaks Wilderness. Saguaro's line a ridge in the Superstition Wilderness. The skeletal ribs of this saguaro are all that remain.
