I bought one of those fancy new iPhones last weekend. Not the Duo those are too expensive and I really don't like foldable smartphones. I upgraded my 14 pro to an 18 pro and I am very pleased with it so far. The battery life was what I mostly wanted it for and it excels in that front. The fast charging is amazing and it really just lasts!! I'm a heavy phone user I'll admit and my 14 pro just wasn't up to the task. The new cameras I haven't messed with too much yet but the zoom lens is really good and I very much appreciate a dedicated shutter button. The only complaint I have is just the AI stuff. I'll keep this short because god knows bearblog doesn't need more posts about AI but the new siri voice for it has that horrible chatgpt cadence and most of the features like the message summarization I don't really want or need.
