just all over the damn place

i think this is becoming more of a diary on how my adhd affects my ability to stick to one damn project more than anything else... i've been cooking up another game that's a mix of a couple older ideas (you know when you have a bunch of half-finished things that don't work on their own and finally you find something new that let's you reuse all of them into a new, better work? very satisfying i tell ya). so it's technically not new... this one will have 3d because i have to force myself to at some point and i don't think i'd be able to be satisfied without it so i've been tooling around in godot slowly. the more projects i start to work on though, the more i find a desire to sort things out from an admin perspective. i currently use github to backup things here and there but i'm wanting to move away from it for many reasons everyone already knows about - unfortunately it's like the only service that gives you free, private cloud storage for git repos. then i came across this website -…
