tl;dr: Sometimes you get there early, sometimes you get there late - but even if you had a chance you never knew the game Music Monday for September 20th, 2026 Guess what - it’s not Monday! It’s Sunday, and I’m a day early! Ok, reality is that I’m over a year late for the next edition, but shush. In case you’ve forgotten, Music Monday is an idea I cooked up a long time ago to encourage myself to focus and listen to albums in their fully presented manner (front to back, beginning to end as it were), born out of the history of a Friday Random Ten. Of course, I’m absolutely amazing at doing things on a routine, so I’ve totally kept up with the habit… This week’s album In memory of Duncan Sheik who passed unexpectedly this past week, I’m listening through a bunch of his work. He has quite a catalog of work, including multiple musicals and soundtracks for which he was nominated and won Tony, Outer Critics, and Grammy awards.
