We’ve crossed the Rubicon again. “She came and brought the spring” Duolingo is trying to push the story on, but not really progressing my Greek. That said, I cannot think of an end to that story. C’mon Duolingo, commit to one or the other. A litter pick day: metal nitrous oxide canisters, a big white plastic container of some car oil stuff and all the usuals. I’d love to say litter picking brings me joy, but it doesn’t. I spend at least 70% of the time wrapped in a fantasy where I save all the coffee cups dumped by the parents and the water bottles dumped by the kids and I put them in the middle of the pitch before their Saturday practice so their rightful owners can reclaim them. The last 30% of the litter pick is usually taken up trying to remind myself that I am better than that. Also, what would I do with the rest of the trash?
