Weekly update 20/09/2026

Well it’s been a quite a week and a half. Some real ups and downs have been had in that time. Just over a week ago a lot of my friends and coworkers were made redundant and it’s awful. I feel really bad for them, I also feel guilty for “surviving” and also for worrying about what things will be like for me once they leave. I guess we will just have to wait and see on that one but things are going to be stressful on this front for the foreseeable future. On the flip side of this my son, who is now six months old, enjoyed his first trip to the aquarium. It was a good day out and he seemed to enjoy the sensory experience even if he didn’t know what was going on. He seemed to like the Pacu fish which are also my favourite. We also got him a plush axolotl which he loves. Music wise I haven’t had much time for a lot. I’ve been trying to fit in some new death metal but there’s nothing stand out to report on in my opinion. In other genres though the new Tygers of Pan Tang was better than…
