First harvest

Two months ago we bought our own home with a garden. The people who build it eight years ago also planted some trees and one of them is a jujube tree. I have never seen them before I moved to Korea, here they are called 대추 (daechu). They are a little sour but mostly sweet. The more brown they are the less sour they are, so best is when they just start being brown. They are rape now and we just picked those we could get with a ladder But we had to stop because there suddenly were a bunch of wasps and one of them stung me when I was at top of the ladder and we almost fell down from it! But still we got very many of them.
