Galley House Is Beyond Help

Back in the 1930s, a terrible discovery was made at Galley House – a broken corpse on the doorsteps, the blood still not quite dry, and a range of other bodies scattered about the place. The scene of the crime baffled the authorities, and the lack of progress meant that the case was largely forgotten about after its original stir. 60 years or so later, and forensic science had moved on. A certain investigative agency was facing a baffling crisis which had troubling parallels with the Galley House incident – and had access to a bizarre technology which allowed them to extract audio from the minds of the deceased. The bodies were unfrozen, recordings extracted, and due to concerns about the material representing a cognitive hazard a reclusive outside consultant was brought into analyse the material. He dutifully set about the task, listening to the recordings exhaustively, making transcripts, logging the transcripts in his computer as he pieced them together… and was eventually found…
