What I thought about I’m Thinking on Ending Things

Joining our book club made me realize that I’m a social reader. The top reasons I read are: If someone bought me the copy; If someone recommended the book to me; If I watched the film (mostly with someone) and I got intrigued; If I saw someone on YouTube talking about it. The reason I read “I’m Thinking of Ending Things” is the last one. I found out that the book will have a film on Netflix. I wasn’t rushing to watch that, but I did rush to get to the book. I listened to it in one day. It accompanied me while cooking, cleaning the house, and working. The only time I had to hit pause was during the meetings, but it was so captivating that I genuinely thought of cancelling my meeting to just listen.
