I admire the insight and sensitivity of D H Lawrence in this:"some old things are lovely, warm still with life ... of the forgotten men who made them." which comes from his short piece "Things Men Have Made"Things Men Have MadeTHINGS men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life intoare awake through years with transferred touch,, and go on glowingfor long years.And for this reason, some old things are lovelywarm with the life of forgotten men who made them.I live in an age of unmakers. My work is the making of things hand made, and I know my craft well simply by the doing of it. Artificial intelligence adds nothing to my work of any value and though I do use computer design technology here or there, my personal prized drawings come from pencil points of graphite and dip ink pens only.
