Slouch On My Couch

I recently bought two smartphones (one as a backup for the other), the first ones I've owned with AI/speech recognition "on board." A few days ago, I decided to take a trip down memory lane and started reading Sam Williams's Free as in Freedom (2002). I now read it as I slouch on my couch with a phone resting on my chest. Hey, Google! What does the word cognate mean? Say what you want about AI, but if I can learn something new without lifting an arm (to pick up a dictionary, or type m-w.com in the address bar of my browser), I call that a big win. If only I could automate physical exercise.
