Photos from the end-of-summer garden 0 ▲ Tracy Durnell's Mind Garden 1 hour ago · Nature · hide · 0 comments tall oregon grape! for real this plant is a winner if you have a large spot that a spiky shrub would work (I planted mine a bit close to a walkway 😬) The light was muted this morning so I decided to haul out the ol’ dSLR and take some photos in the garden. The sun came out so I went in for lunch, then I decided I needed to go back out for sunny shots! 😂 I keep saying I’ll pull out all the euphorbia but then it looks like this — this is a much more rule-abiding specimen, unlike the wulfenii this is the first time I recall seeing nuts on my contorted filbert! my contorted filbert is purple in the spring, but over the summer the leaves shift to green in the sun — love the little purple buds my sister gave me this little guy she made and I love it so much this ninebark (diabolo) is so pretty, why does it have such problems with powdery mildew? the thimbleberry is a volunteer slash I can’t get rid of it, but at least the color’s pretty with the ninebark my green smokebush seems happy the… No comments yet.
