It has gone from me living on the floor of my friend’s sublet, to somehow, within around 16 days start to finish, having found my own place to live, which in Berlin is a pretty notable achievement, especially one that resulted in me: not getting fucked over on cost, not having to deal with nightmare landlords, not having to travel halfway across the city or into the middle of nowhere to have somewhere to sleep, and it being an unlimited contract. I started looking for places to live seriously after crashing at empty flats of friends of mine for the last few months and while the place I have now is until the end of October, I knew I needed to use this time wisely to find something as fast as possible, because this city can either take minutes or months to secure living arrangements (that aren’t horrendous economically or in a physical sense), so the sooner I started the better.
