apronsI had two small scraps of 7/8" thick poplar that I used to get the 8 aprons for the nightstand from. The short side aprons are only an inch shorter then the long sides. That is because the top is 15 and change by 14 change. Not quite a square and barely a small rectangle.hmm.......The red paint skimmed over - it had a skim coat on it yesterday too when I painted the first coat. What is underneath that seems to be viable and the 2nd coat covered and looks good. I'll find for sure in the Am.good to goThe black looked good but still needed a 2nd coat in spots. Happy with the 2nd coat coverage and I'm calling the black done.dry fittedThe base dry fitted. No surprises or hiccups and all the joints closed with hand pressure. oopsDrilled from the wrong end of the jig. I'll fill these in before I glue the aprons. what to do, what to doThe top has a 1/2" overhang all the way around. The bottom shelf is what was occupying my attention. How do I get it fitted between the four legs?…
